Experience You Can Count On
When it comes to your health and overall well-being, it’s important to have a knowledgeable professional you can turn to. Over the past 15 years, I’ve provided counseling and psychological services to patients throughout the Idaho Treasure Valley area. I also provide Telehealth counseling through a secure online counseling system. My expertise covers a broad spectrum of mental health services, and I’m happy to share coping and recovery skills with you.
I have learned valuable lessons through my own professional and personal experiences that can assist you in navigating through difficult challenges. Using a solution-focused therapeutic approach enables me to serve participants better with their life adjustment needs. In most cases I can utilize your Employee Assistant Program EAP. This approach enables you to receive the short-term coaching and counseling that you need to get you moving in a positive direction. The cost for my short-term therapy sessions are considerably less than trying to go through months of counseling elsewhere.
Addiction and Moods
I use a cognitive behavioral psychotherapy approach for helping people develop and utilize coping management tools for mood and co-occurring disorders. My cognitive-behavioral techniques and strategies provide you with the tools to develop and practice coping strategies that make life more manageable. I am a therapist who seeks to understand the psychological, physiological, and other sociological challenges of mental illness and addictive disorders. My experiences in the field of psychiatric and addictive disorders can make a tremendous impact on the quality of your life.
I serve to assist couples and partners who are experiencing new trials and challenges and want to practice healthy boundaries, love, and intimacy in their relationships. My formal and informal training has taught me how to analyze the different dynamics within relationships. I use basic communication and conflict management skills to help couples with repairing and strengthening their relationships. I use a variety of assessment and relationship tools for helping couples know each other’s needs and how to work on a team plan for being more loving, caring, and forgiving.
My passion is helping my clients develop the tools they need to cope with many of life’s challenges impacting emotional, behavioral, relational, and mental health. Contact me today to learn more and book a session.
